What is Gen 9 Pokémon?

Generation 9 of Pokémon refers to the ninth installment of the Pokémon franchise, was introduced in the Pokémon games Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, which were released on November 18, 2022. This generation brought 105 new Pokémon species, adding to the existing roster of Pokémon. The games are set in the Paldea region, inspired by the Iberian Peninsula.
